Are you feeling torn between who you’re expected to be and who you know you’re meant to become? Do you find yourself carrying the weight of expectations while quietly longing for something more—more clarity, more freedom, more alignment?

You’re not alone.

As a licensed therapist and first-generation immigrant, I understand the complexity of navigating multiple identities, expectations, and internal pressures. I’ve lived the tension between duty and desire, and I know how easy it is to lose yourself while trying to meet the needs of others.

In our work together, I take the time to truly understand who you are—your experiences, your strengths, and the values that shape how you move through the world. From there, we begin building the awareness needed to shift patterns, reconnect with your voice, and create space for a version of your life that feels more aligned and authentic.

My approach is compassionate, culturally responsive, and grounded in helping you not only understand yourself more deeply, but also move forward with clarity and confidence. You don’t have to keep choosing between who you are and who you’re expected to be.

My Therapeutic Techniques and Specialties

I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions—particularly those who feel the weight of expectations, perfectionism, and the complexity of balancing who they are with who they’ve been taught to be. Much of my work centers around identity—exploring self-esteem, self-image, and the unique challenges that come with first-generation experiences and cultural expectations. My approach is both insight-driven and practical.

I integrate evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), alongside person-centered and strengths-based approaches. I also incorporate elements of life coaching to support you in gaining clarity, strengthening your decision-making, and creating a life that feels more aligned with who you are.

This work is not just about managing symptoms—it’s about helping you understand yourself, shift patterns that no longer serve you, and move through life with more confidence, intention, and alignment.
